Terms and Conditions
We have a very simple set of terms and conditions and our events are run under UKA rules.
All race numbers will be collection on the day.
Please do not run/walk with someone else’s number as you won’t be covered by our insurance.
You must be 16+ to enter. Under 18s should seek RD approval to enter covering UKA maximum age/distance allowance.
You can’t run with a dog we’re afraid due to land permissions and UKA rules.
You must be fit to take on the challenge.
Late starters can be accommodated with RD approval but all times will be taken from official race start time.
Refunds, cancellations and transfers:
The moment you enter our race we start to incur administration and race costs; these include medal costs, land use, race perishables, toilet hire, insurance etc. No refund can be given if the race is cancelled or postponed due to circumstances outside of our control. Your entry fee is invested in the staging of the race and main costs to contractors, suppliers, administration etc. are already committed well before race day.
Race entry can be transferred to another runner up to 7 days before the event. A refund, will be issued when the transferred runner accepts and pays for the place. After this cut-off we regret that we will not be able to provide any refund or credit transfer or credit either in full or in part whatever the circumstances of the entrants’ non-attendance or need to withdraw.
In the event of cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances we will endeavour to stage the run at a later date if possible. In such an eventuality all participants will be notified by email, notice on our Facebook page, or post. Our entire liability in respect of all costs and expenses you may incur as a result of such cancellation or delay will be the entry price you have paid to take part in the event.
We reserve the right, in our absolute discretion, to refuse to allow you to participate in the event at the start or to continue participation at any point along the route of the event, should you be deemed to behave inappropriately or give cause for concern that your continued participation may cause offence or injury to yourself, any spectator or other competitors. Failure to comply with an instruction from race officials will result in ejection from the race and potential reporting to the police
