Design of the medal

Staunton Country Park and the neighbouring Forestry Commission’s Havant Thicket will be the venue for On The Whistle Limited’s July 2017’s 6 hour challenge event.

This is a 6 hour timed event starting in the beautiful grounds of Staunton Park heading out to Havant Thicket where you will loop through Forestry Commission land then head back to Staunton Park and the aid/refreshment station. We can’t promise you this will be flat course thanks to a lovely hill (maybe two), but it’ll be fun.

Complete one 4.5mile lap to qualify for the medal or continue to run further laps achieving 10k, half marathon, marathon, and ultra distance or something in between, it’s up to you.
At the end of each lap our aid station will be stocked with all the goodies runners like: water, squash, jelly babies, Haribo, crisps and cakes. All the things required to help set you off for another lap or two, or if you prefer you can ring the bell to officially finish your run and collect your medal.

Staunton Country Park has some wonderful facilities with play areas for children, picnic areas, and also a farm where children can interact with the animals (fee payable to enter) – a perfect place for your family to be entertained whilst you run.

All race numbers will be collected on the day and race information will be issued to the email address you registered with and will also be available on our website.

With kind permission of Hampshire County Council

This event is recognised by the 100 Marathon Club, so complete 6 laps and it will count towards membership of the 100 Marathon Club
